Woodweave Blinds
Wood weave blinds are made from thin slices of wooden material that are woven together to form a mat. They are controlled by cord locks that hang by either side of the blinds. In recent years, wood weave blinds have gained popularity in homes for a number of reasons:
They help regulate temperature in a room. When installed in an air-conditioned room, wood weave blinds can lower indoor temperature so that your air-conditioning unit's compressor need not work too hard to cool the room. This may translate to lower energy bills.
Wooden slats provide adequate coverage while allowing soft light to pass through and permeate a room, resulting in a soothing atmosphere that is ideal for bedrooms.
Wood weave blinds are eco friendly because they are made of natural and renewable materials such as bamboo, jute and seagrass.
Wood weave blinds can be rolled up partially or completely allowing you to dictate just how much light to let in your room. It is ideally used for covering large glass windows in living rooms and conservatories.
The natural colour of the wooden slats provide a unique finish such that no two sets of blinds are exactly alike. This also makes wood weave blinds blend easily with wooden furniture and floors. The dark coloured weave is often used for modern themes and Asian inspired settings.
You can easily maintain wood weave blinds by regularly vacuuming the slats using the brush attachment of the cleaner at least once a week.
